DIABETES DOES NOT DEFINE YOU

We know there is sadness or we feel down from time to time, especially if you have diabetes. People with diabetes are twice as likely to have depression.

However, always remember that the disease DOES NOT define you. You don’t have to feel guilty for it. You did nothing wrong.

Try to open your mind and talk to professionals. There are professional therapists or counsellors could always help. Speak out, share your thoughts with friends, families or peers. Also, you can try moving more, like exercising, walking. It has lots of positive benefits!
